Local Food Farm Share on New Day Cleveland

Nicole Snyder makes an appearance on New Day Cleveland in April 2024 to explain the special benefits of the Grace Brothers’ CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program.

[NORTH ROYALTON, OHIO – APRIL, 22 2025]

The local food movement has been steadily growing over the last decade.

However, many people can find it overwhelming to begin moving away from big grocery stores, and towards shopping from local farmers. Luckily, there are many ways to buy fresh, seasonal, Ohio-grown produce right here in the Greater Cleveland area.

Grace Brothers Farm, Nursery & Supply in North Royalton, Ohio, offers an easy solution with their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program.

A CSA is a produce-purchasing model in which you commit to supporting local farmers for a growing season, in exchange for a weekly bag of fruit, vegetables, eggs, and more.

CSAs are convenient for customers who don’t have to think about what or where to get fresh-picked local food each week. CSAs are also beneficial for farmers who can grow and harvest for a committed group of supporters. This win-win model helps strengthen NE Ohio’s local food system, economy, and community resilience.

Grace Brothers has four convenient pick-up locations to join their Summer 2025 program: North Royalton, Independence, Brunswick, and Lakewood.

Grace Brothers also hosts Farm Market Fridays, where local foodies can come buy fresh-picked produce, breads, eggs, meat, and more. This weekly event is hosted at their North Royalton store location, June – October, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Tune in to Fox 8’s New Day Cleveland on Friday, April 25th, 10 AM, to learn more as you listen to CSA Coordinator, Nicole Snyder, share about the benefits of eating fresh-picked Ohio produce, eating with the seasons, and how you can start doing it this year!
